Just got home from jogging and had my shower. It was trying, even though it's 2 rounds of Limbang Park. 2 years of not running. But the migraine was worth it! The 7-11 lady looked at me weirdly when I bought Redbull after the jog. I was walking aimlessly and looked souless. Probably that's why. Even when I'm drinking on the way home, I looked like I was drunk. But that's OK. The jog made me happy and I have no problem accomplishing my work soon afterwards. Feel so refreshed...

I really need a direction in life now. One that is meanigful, one that is blessed by our Rabb. In other words, I need to know what to do for my future. Mumz told me to wait after NS, since in there there would be lots of influence of career choices. I guess she really understand me quite well; I'm the type to be easily influence by what I encounter.

On a side note, there are alot of movies for me to catch. Bean, TMNT and the upcoming POTC due July. All good lah! There's also good recommendations for 300, even though it's been out for the past few weeks. Ahh! JB, anyone? But I've yet to update my passport. Urgh...

I didn't even know that LP had already released their new album. Woot! Thanks to Pris for informing me and sending me the songs at the same time. hahahah

Something amiss though; I feel my part is seriously lacking today, but I cannot point to what is. Either way, work better next Thurs!

-Think of 5 aspects for our team to focus on while making the tea. Need one more point.
-How to test for spoilage
-Buy 1 gallon of distilled water; or 4 bottles
-Update my messy logbook

Oh, we're making chamomile tea with 25% red grape juice with normal steeping period of 3 min. Sweeteners and additives will come next week. Think should be honey. Still more tasting to go through next week. Till we decide the best mix for the best taste. Go team!

OK, now gonna update my harddisk and arrange my music files. Got some new songs which are not easily attained!

But I've written the draft of my own destiny: Chapter 21. I shall dedicate that year for myself. Doing the things I like, work and learn at my own pace, and catch up what I've been lacking for the past 20 years. It will be the last year of my youth; might as well enjoy to the fullest before the next stage.

Hey! I've calculated. If I'm the CEO of the HotDog department, I'm earning $20/hr but $600/mth. Enterprising and franchising? Hmm....but I'm still getting daily wages of $10, and I'm OK with it. Praises to Allah.

Now I'm worried...

I hope she co-operates. Not only did she not come for meetinga due to her work, but she even had the cheek to ask the meeting to be postponed by one day. You guys may wonder why I am acting like that's sucha big fuss. OK, 1stly, when this meeting is decided, she asked to start later. I compromised with the PI and the others so it would be suitable for all of us to arrive to the meeting with no fault and delay. 2ndly, 3 days before the meeting, she asked to postpone the meeting.

I was kinda pissed; cuz it would seem she is thinking that I am the only one who can conform to the changes. I am not the whole team...and I don't conform to last-minute changes. Everyone has already decided to be on that day and it'll be a hassle for all of us to change their timetable. Not for all, but as for me who needs to inform the others and getting their replies back and forth is quite tedious. I am not spared of growing white hairs because of this. Couldn't she spare her work time for school's?

I tried not to blow up on the spot, but luckily there are supporting evidence from my PI to counter her plead....*MSN*

...that was her online. I thought she's trying to argue to me that she could not find proof that the meeting is on Wed, but she was only confirming. Well, at least the PI also confirmed this.


On the topic of PI, she sent us her future schedule, telling us to speed up and not do last-minute work. Let it be this Wed to plan our lab sessions for the upcoming weeks. I'm thinking of having 2 lab meetings per week; just have to hear what the others say. (hope they don't explode)


I was reading some blogs from my schoolmates. As I read their entries about their FYP meetings, it got me to worry that our team is lagging. Others have like every meeting or 2 per week. We have them, but our part is still on its trial-and-error session, not to mention confirm that is the drink we're gonna make (flavour testing). It's the holidays, but no rest for us. And everything we have to do ourselves; so we screw up, we'll be shot. I can't wait to graduate; this school is really pissing me off because of their system. Other polytechnics let their students take a break, do attachment with schedules and pay. I want my school to read this: YOU are nothing compared to the rest. Don't bother competing with them; stop trying to be the best.

To my families reading this: I'm certain all of us are not the type to voice out. DON'T choose my school.

When I'm out of NS, I will brainwash myself out of Science. I really want to do what I really excel in, and Allah knows what I am in the end.

What about me?

Today was kinda down in dumps for me. After this morning's lesson, I pondered I am not as capable as what I thought as myself. Guess it's my inflated ego. The mood drove me further down when a surveryor greeted me and I just turned him down (it's a common gesture for me). Then, I recalled: he greeted me with salam. I replied back, but this was when I already walked away. Damn, I regretted it: why did I ignore a good-willed guy? Sigh...Can you believe I bought 3 boxes of muffin from this old door2door man. I sorta tried to recompense my guilt earlier so I thought I can help him by relieving his burden. But later on, I realised I paid $10 for 3 boxes....I thought muffins are cheap? Oh well, beramal solehla..

One thing I realize though when I was doing my own personal reflection: I am a failure. Everyone is smart, has a high GPA, and aims for the U. What about me? My GPA is dropping constantly, I hate Science and I skip classes alot. What am I gonna do after NS? Everyone has a part-time job that can support them. Everyone has a talent to support their career. What about me? I have none of these. Sorry for my whiny pitiful rants, but this is the only place I can voice out my sadness. D=

Tmr got ngaji at 1100. Hmm...but then again, I always wake up at 1000. lol...

Ok the grape juice was nice. But they have filtered water in it + permitted flavours. Yet they say 100% juice. Hmmm...oh well, time to try the pineapple tmr.

Also tmr I have to buy the ladle and filter funnel. If I can't find them, it's up to my other mates for the rescue! And I still haven't water the plants. They're thirsty.

Went to the library to research more on how changes happen in food processing. Unfortunately, there weren't any books pertaining to such. So much for Reference library. So all in all, I just flipped through books about fragrance compounds (ingredient-wise), HPLC, packaging, and chemistry and constituents of soft drinks. Yes, it's 'flip through'; because I didn't finish half of those books. I was quite sleepy that time, so I just randomly lied on the table, but not much la. Maybe next time I shall search for more, and I really need to.

Was disappointed just now when I dropped by Bras Basah, cuz the shop didn't sell Archie 40's magazines. sobbersobber. Those versions have much more Juggy sarcasm than these days'. BEEEEEEEEEETCCH! Ok that was random.

Oh dang, forgot to water the plants. I reached home at 7, and scoot off to bed. Really exhausted; then woke up an hour later, realized I skipped prayer time. Regrets....

And now I'm hungry. I noticed I'm eating alot these few weeks. Must be the holidays. Hello 70kg!

Tomorrow, remind me to buy FYP stuffs, propose a method list to make the grape tea, do more research (HPLC, and changes of food process), and also water my plants. kekeke

It's 0100. Supposed to sleep now because tomorrow I need to wake up to head down to NLB. Lots of research in store for me. But then I still haven't solat, and now I'm wasting time blogging.

Today, I bought a 80gb harddisk. I thought they came together with a padded cover, but it didn't. Hmm.. gonna scout for one in the next few days.

My mood today was not good. So sleepy seh...slept at 0400 and woke up at 1100. Dunno why; prolly due to my pee break. Then I remembered: Spongebob! So watched it; and stayed up to watch my bro play PS2, and slept again. I was dissapointed as a few hours after I woke up, I still felt sleepy. So I couldn't concentrate in my activities, got fed up very easily and was sweating all along (I did have my shower though). Now after having my late supper, I'm wide awake! I wanna sleep soon...tired of staying up till dawn.

I am learning how to use Dreamweaver. Anybody wanna teach me? It used to be simple back when I was in Multimedia Club, but must be because I'm old. hahaha

Or maybe because I haven't shower for a day. Hmmm...was doing research about changes in food during food processing; and Google wouldn't help!! Even the Knovel Research needs subscription to use it. Oh well...I've decided to go NLB this Thursday. They have tons of reference books to be used, so I hope they have something related to the said topic. Whilst at it, might as well look up on grape, tea, fruit tea, fruit mix, etc, to get started on sources for Lit Review. I would like to believe that all of these findings are just the crust of FYP, because once you're done with them you have more to research on.

Ah can't wait for Thursday, since after NLB, my burden would reduce then. After that, wanna walk around Bugis to shop.

The sound of heavy metal blasting through my ears right as the clock ticks noon is orgasmic. Me singing along to the lyrics while air guitaring to the rythym...kinda reminded me what I planned before the holidays. Target: ESP. hahaha didn't manage to save enough though; the money's more important for my DS and hardware accessories. Maybe next time I'll pick up a guitar, but for now, headbanging \m/

Yay next Wed confirms to be our lab! We're gonna taste the best grape tea mix and discuss some stuffs (all listed in my notepad and LogBook). But before that, we're gonna sort out who's gonna buy what. I'm planning to buy dark grape juice for the team, Khair Al-Anam red grape juice, Bernyce the teas; however am not too sure about the materials. Maybe contact them at night where their presence is most common.

During holidays, I don't usually wake up so early; earliest would be 12nn. But I keep having sleeping disorder. Even though I slept at around 4am this season, I keep waking up around 9. I feel strange, though, cuz later on my eyes will get weary for no reason. Maybe I'll take a nap later.

Hey evening...

Lab meeting's been changed, due to our teammate not being able to take leave from work. Therefore, I have to email/sms everyone about the change, possibly next Tuesday. Wonder if everyone agrees with it. Insyallah...though another teammate is only available on weekends and having lab meetings on Saturday is out of the question. Many sincere apologies, mate! Just hope our PI is agreeable with the change, even though she might have booked the lab on our original date.

Hope everyone can confirm by tmr. It's worrying being the messenger, cuz you have to make sure they get the message. Sending is one thing, confirmation is another. Sorta similar to my previous Quartermaster post: sending e-mails and attending to member's request, but that thing is in the past ;)

Am hungry and waiting for Mumz to wake up. She posted me to her HotDog department, but the payroll's not rolling. Hope to get some money from her tmr, cuz I wanna buy a harddisk. Sorta crucial especially in my 3rd year; cannot afford to lose important datas.

Eh guys

Feel so bored now. Entering the 5th week of holidays, almost done with PP, and starting on FYP testing. Hmmm, the team's been thinking of making grape tea. Prolly next Thursday we're having lab to test out the mix taste with different kinds of tea, and then we'll select the best combo. Nevertheless, there're still backup plans: strawberry or pineapple tea. Though I know some stalls have sold them, we could try mixing with other flavours. Gonna have loads of discussion then.

Today I felt tired...and nothing else. hahaha
